No return will be accepted without an authorization number. To obtain this number, please contact the branch from which the goods were purchased with the following information;
(a) Invoice or packing slip number
ACCEPTABLE QUALITY LEVEL: Unless otherwise specified, all products shall be delivered in accordance with the manufacturer's and/or industry standard practices.
ACCEPTANCE: All orders and quotations subject to approval at seller's plant.
CANCELLATION OR SUSPENSION: Cancellation or suspension of acknowledged orders will be accepted only upon terms that will indemnify Seller against loss. Orders for non-standard or special products are not subject to cancellation or return.
DELAYS AND INABILITY TO PERFORM: The Seller shall be excused for any delay in performance or inability to perform, in whole or in part, due to acts of God, war, riot, civil commotion, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fires, floods, accidents, quarantine restrictions, epidemics, factory conditions, strikes, differences with workers, delays in transportation, shortages of cars, fuel, labor, supplies or materials, or laws, regulations, or other requirements of the Government of Canada or any agency thereof, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Seller.
PERMISSIBLE VARIATIONS: All materials shall be furnished subject to the standard manufacturing and commercial variations and practices of the Seller. The Seller reserves the privilege of shipping overages or underages of quantity at the rate of plus or minus 10%.
CLAIMS, LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Seller shall not be liable for any claims, losses, labor expenses or damages, direct or consequential resulting directly or indirectly from the use of, or inability to use, the products sold hereunder, including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of production, and liabilities, claims and expenses in respect to third parties. Notwithstanding the foregoing and in lieu of any warranty of merchantability or of fitness for any particular purpose or any other warranty (whether expressed or implied by operation of law or otherwise), products proving defective in material or workmanship will be replaced, or, at Seller's option, credit will be allowed for the original price thereof, provided written claim in respect of such products is made within thirty days after receipt and upon written authorization of the Seller such products are returned to Seller. Seller will not accept return of any products without its written authorization. All orders are accepted by the Seller on the basis that in the event of any dispute between the Buyer and Seller, the Seller's terms and conditions of sale will prevail.
CREDIT APPROVAL: Orders, shipments and deliveries shall at all times be subject to the approval of the Seller's credit department.
PRICES: Prices quoted are subject to change without notice and will be adjusted to seller's price in effect at time of shipment. Prices may be subject to raw material increases or changes in duties and tariffs. Prices are based upon producing and shipping, at one time, quantities commensurate with price quoted.
H. PAULIN & CO. STANDARD RETURN POLICY
Effective May 1, 2016, following approval by H. Paulin & Co., all merchandise will be accepted for credit on the following terms:
MERCHANDISE ORDERED IN ERROR
Return freight to the originating warehouse is the responsibility of the customer / FOB our facilities. A restocking fee of 15% will be applied.
MERCHANDISE SHIPPED IN ERROR
Where shipping errors are the fault of H. Paulin and Co. we will pay transportation charges and issue full
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Approval by way of Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) # must be obtained from H. Paulin & Co. prior to shipment of any product. No goods will be received in our facilities without a valid RGA #.
- Product must be returned within 90 days of customer receipt date.
- Product must be returned within 30 days of the RGA # being issued to the customer.
- We can only accept product of our own manufacture and in our own packages. If repacking is necessary an additional 25% will be applied.
- A barcode or label must be visible on all product being returned.
- Obsolete merchandise not listed in our current catalogue or price list will not be accepted for credit.
- Merchandise shipped for return should be properly packaged to avoid damage in transit.
- RGA # must be clearly marked on all boxes / packages.
- Packing slip must be enclosed with the returned goods.
- Minimum value of goods being returned is $25.00 (outside of defective goods or orders shipped in error).
